Aim

In Unit 1, you will work with various tools of the EKT platform. You will read shared documents about "in-school placement" and share and comment on anecdotes about your teaching/learning experiences using the EKT tools. The key focus is on a discussion of your in-school placement expectations.

Academic and School Mentor

  • become familiar with the platform, its various tools and their functions 
  • engage in a conversation around in-school placement expectations: share a document and discuss your expectations for the upcoming in-school placement cycle with your student(s) in a video call
  • read and comment on anecdotes of your students'  learning/ teaching experiences
